Our Story
Parkside Farm is a reservation and by appointment only farm in Byron Center, MI founded by Nicole Zaagman in 2021. Parkside Farm sits on 8 acres and was named for its peaceful, "park-like" setting filled with trees and natural beauty. In the day you can watch clouds roll by, see amazing sunsets and star gaze at night. Our farm is 20 minutes south of downtown Grand Rapids, not far from the Grand Rapids International Airport, many restaurants, various entertainment options and shopping venues.
Parkside Farm offers a unique and curated menu of services including a barn theater for small family gatherings and events, relaxing overnight RV and farmhouse Airbnb stays, photography sessions, hands-on pygmy goat farm educational experiences and mobile pygmy goat visits for special events such as school visits, assisted living enrichment, festivals and birthday parties. Our prayer is for the Lord to use Parkside Farm as a place of restoration and blessing and to spread joy with others.

The first floor of our 100 year old farm house and farm is perfect for retreats, small business meetings, team building exercises, client presentations, and more. Includes free WIFI and parking and varied amenities located on the first floor of our 100 year old western inspired farmhouse.
Pygmy Goats
Children's Storybook
In 2022, Nicole Zaagman authored and photo-illustrated a storybook about baby Samson the pygmy goat. Samson was born at Parkside Farm 10/28/22. A little miracle, Samson's storybook and his cute merchandise has gone on to spread joy to those of all ages around the world.

Farm & Mobile Visits
Farm Founder, Nicole Zaagman offers the Jump for JOY Program™ utilizing pygmy goats, coaching and art activities helping participants build social skills, improve self confidence and relieve stress. You can also book a mobile pygmy goat visit for an upcoming special event or celebration.
